Proposed Projects
  1. Establishment of cottage industries ceramics, pormade, tie and dye, rice milling and poultry farms.
  2. Construction of women development centers at several towns and villages.
  3. Renovation and equipping of all existing women development centers across the state.
  4. Construction of new renn and homes, and renovation of existing ones.
  5. Train more women and girls in skills acquisition
  6. Pursue with vigor, the eradication of polio and other killer diseases through immunization programs.
  7. De worming and immunizing children against the 6 (six) childhood killer diseases.
  8. Provided training in skills acquisition to the destitute and provide them with artificial limbs, crutches and wheel chairs.

What the State Hopes To Achieve

The State Government intends to achieve and improve the quality of the lives of the people through the vigorous implementation of policies and programs in the following areas:
  1. Provision of portable water supply for human and animal consumption.
  2. Rehabilitation of all dilapidated infrastructures and provision of additional ones especially road networks and drainage systems of housing.
  3. Provision of basic functional education to meet the goals of the education for all policy.
  4. Provision of adequate, accessible and affordable qualitative health care delivery services.
  5. Rejuvenation of the civil service to make it more responsive to the goals of this administration.
  6. Provision of youth employment and sporting facilities for the development of a virile youth force.
  7. Maintenance of existing services at economic costs and embarking on new projects and programs especially rural roads and electricity.
  8. Provision of adequate security to lives and properties of our citizens through re-strengthening of the security operatives and involvement of all strata of the society in security management.
  9. Creation of enabling environment for the establishment of industries by the private sector and in partnership with the Government.
